Chef Jodrick I. Ujaque, a proud Puerto Rican and 10-year SoBeWFF veteran, is the creative force behind Chefs on the Run in Homestead. Raised around food and family tradition, he honed his skills at top spots like Café Tu Tu Tango and Ortanique. In 2011, he opened South Florida’s first Caribbean-American gastropub. With multiple awards, TV features, and culinary honors, Chef Jodrick continues to bring bold, unforgettable flavors rooted in heritage and driven by passion.

On September 2011 Chef Jodrick took a chance and opened Chefs on the Run Assorted Cuisine in Homestead Florida, named after the “Go, Go” attitude of the service industry, Chefs on the Run is the 1st ever Caribbean-American GastroPub serving Chef Jodrick’s award-winning signature modern burgers, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine along with his creative & bold fare. Chef Jodrick was featured on the Spanish show “Delicioso” with Ingrid Hoffman.

On January 24th, 2013 “Bites with Belkys” Chef Jodrick introduces the Kan Kan Pork Chop, as the 1st restaurant in the US to offer this Puerto Rican specialty & rarity. He was the 1st local Chef to be invited to cook at the prestigious Paradise Farm’s “Dinner in Paradise” on its 30-year history 2013-2015 Voted “Best burger in Town” at the Burger Battle on Krome
